Kubb in Eugene

I am here in Eugene and Love the crazy sports beat here. It's unlike anything I have experienced in the south. I recently played a very strange game on the campus of U of O called KUBB. Last Norwegian game I played was so boring I renamed it boring Norwegian game so I was a skeptic. But this game blows lawn darts and horse shoes out of the water. It has a nice pace and a cool King effigy in the middle that I wanted to burn when the game ended but they were smart enough to not let me play. The game is simple but hard to learn quickly. Best of all is the many different ways to attack. Don't miss it if you happen to walk by it one day. By the way this games is a lawn game that needs a large space to play on.
